1. General description of the format

The format of video ads inside the site video content. It can be displayed before (Pre-roll) and after (Post-roll) video content playback.

2. Aspect ratio and resolution

You must provide a video in horizontal orientation.

  • the aspect ratio is 16:9 or 4:3;
  • the resolution is 1920x1080p.

It is not recommended to place important elements of the creative and information about the advertised product in the corners of the creative, as they can be overlapped by the player's controls.

3. The maximum weight of the creative

The weight of the video file must be up to 10 MB.

4. Video requirements

  • The file format is mp4;
  • frame rate - from 20 to 30 frames/s;
  • bitrate - up to 12,000 Kbps;
  • video codec - h.264;
  • audio codec - AAC;
  • video streams - 1;
  • audio streans - 1.

The video clip should not contain visible artifacts, distortion of proportions, be with low processing quality or high compression ratio.

To the creatives that may be shown to the user after September 1, 2022, the requirements of Article 18.1. part 16 of the Federal Law 'On Advertising' are applicable, and it is necessary to add to them:

  • The mark 'Advertising'.
  • The mark 'Advertiser' including the word 'Advertiser' with a colon and the name of the advertiser, specifying the legal form of the business entity. An example of the notation 'Advertiser: Romashka Ltd.

'Advertising' and the name of the advertiser should be placed in the central bottom part of the creative. The texts should occupy no more than 10% of the height and 30% of the width of the creative (the corners of the creative can overlap with the player's controls).


  • These requirements are supplement the General requirements to ad placements.
  • The placement can only be guaranteed if the ad materials, that fully meet the requirements, was submitted at least in five working days before the start of the ad campaign.
